CNY Wedding

Hey darls!!!  How are you sweets ?

I had a very hectic week.  My family member caused some tantrums that made me cancel my date and unleashed my demonic temper.  Yes even Lucifer would freak the fuck out to see me that day.  Enough of that.

So during Chinese New Year I went to my friend's brother's wedding with a plus one who's not one of my bestfriends.  What a woootttt!!!  I'm supposed to be the makeup artist for the mother and sisters of the groom but I had to cancel it because I had some errands to settle.  I felt so bad and apologized to the mother when I arrived at the venue.  But then the mother knows me so well, so she's fine.  hahaha.

Also I didn't wear that much makeup because I'm too lazy.  bahahaha.  Despite having to go out for a date after the reception but this bitch shall not let go of her lazyness bigtime.

Here's my shot with whoever's left hahaha.  Uncompleted bitches gang.

Again, fading lipstick is always an issue for me.

Later that night, I drew a dragon henna tattoo on my wrist.

So I went a little overboard today...

More makeup haul for you guys today!!!

I was suppose to go out and buy a single thing that my friend asked for a long time ago.  Just suppose to get a bagpack for her, but then there's a majestic presence of Sephora and Inglot.  Also my heart did tell me to get NYX products and my brain had a sudden huge curiosity of Inglot products.  So I did go for an active reading of Inglot reviews done by fellow beauty bloggers and failed to control my makeup addiction.  Worth it bruhh!!!

Btw, as a customer & member, I'm fucked up with Sephora in my country.  I'm not sure whether this happens only in my area or the whole country but why the hell are you guys lacking of makeup brands.  I mean, before this I saw a lot of brands from cheaper to high end but NOW I can see only most of the high end brands.  I went there just now (also a week ago at diff, Sephora branch) and the NYX products are totally unrestocked.  I don't know whether there are delays of items shipping (that I can understand lah) or they are no more taking in stocks for NYX.  I was quite disappointed because I thought of going to another store in (Sunway Pyramid) just now hoping they have more products (more brands there too) but instead, so mehhh.  Hopefully they'll improve soon.

After reading about Inglot, I just took my chances to visit the store.  All I can say is, the sales person are adorable in terms of customer servicing since;

a) they are professionally trained makeup expert, they know the best color for you (totally!)
b) they don't make you look stupid (since that was my first ever visit)
c) very friendly.

 I usually don't like it when the sales person tailgate me because they cause this stuffy psychological environment around you but the Inglot people are very warm and helpful.  Before this I felt intimidated since I thought Inglot is a store that sell expensive products but then I was wrong.  Their products are cheap (in terms of pricing and totally affordable.  They actually brand their products like that, looking expensive but instead totally the opposite!!!

Like I said before, FRIENDLY AND AFFORDABLE.

Q&A Session: Makeup 101 (Ep. 1)

QnA Friday with Miss Y... ♥ \m/

Q1: What are the basic brushes/tools that I should have in my vanity? Do I need to buy all kinds of professional brushes?

Ans: Well, the basic sections are your face, eyes and lips. I would recommend the most basic tools that you should own instead of asking you guys to waste and buy shit tons of brushes that you don't even know how and when to use them. So NO, you don't need a lot of brushes (I once did my makeup using 3 brushes only. NAILED IT!)

♥What you need for the face: Foundation brush, Powder brush, Blusher/Bronzer brush & Concealer brush♥

♥What you need for the eyes: Blending brush, Crease brush, & Angled liner brush (for eyeliner and eyebrow)♥

 ♥What you need for the lips: Lip brush, & q-tips♥

Q2: Why in the world do own have so many brushes?

Ans: Darling, these brushes are only for the eyes. Yup trust me, some of us got more than these (you should google the full professional set bruhh) and I seldomly use all of them at one go.

Certain tools are use to make precise adjustments and applications jerrr. Unless you're an avant garde makeup artist, most of us use 3-4 brushes tops for the eyes because of the colors.

To prevent from pre-blending, we use different brushes on different colors on each micro sections of the eye area.

That's how you can see clearly the yellow, orange, red, pink on the eyelids. All thanks too the multiple usage of brushes at a time.

Q3: How to look flawless? What tools should I use?

Ans: My answer is FILTER APP.

Stop dreaming to look flawless you fucking retards.  Sedar diri sikit kau dok dekat garisan Khatulistiwa, panas peluh2 makeup tebal tiga empat depa pon cair jugak dgn selebet terkesat dekat shawl kau lagi.  Kau redho je lah memang takkan flawless unless kau duduk dekat area sejuk nak mampos sampai makeup kau mengeras berkerak dekat muka.

♥♥♥Professionally I would say, use the brushes shown in the picture above. Each have their own specific functions and follow their destined functions. Also get a Blending Sponge (any shape and sizes, dont be stupid to get the RM40 one if you are not a makeup person. Wasting giler despite the approved good quality but still wasting your money). Flat foundation, concealer, powder and blusher brush are the most essentials like I've stated before. So, have fun and good luck experimenting♥♥♥

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Q4: Your choice of blending sponge?
Ans: Any sponge that can make the products to easily stick to-and-off of it.
Professionals use the triangle ones because of the pointed edge can cover the small and hidden areas of your face.
I'm actually really looking forward to get the professional teardrop shape looking sponge called "The Beauty Blender" because of the material is very durable compared to what I'm using at the moment but the original ones are too expensive like daaaaaaaamnnnn! I mean, it's expensive in our country only lah but in Europe they just cost as much as the cikai brand I own right now.
It would be a very good buy though but I got a lot of things on my wishlist to spend on so that's why I chose these cute and cikai star shape sponges (came in a pack of 4) and they worked so well. Everything blend so well and worth buying.
The only drawback is that after a few usage, the sponge tend to break but who cares, other than that I'm satisfied.
Please come back ;(
Please all of you that are reading this, pray together with me.  Only God knows how to repay back you kindness. Ameen.
Lost in the darkness
Hoping for a sign
Instead there's only silence
Can't you hear my screams?
Never stop hoping
Need to know where you are
But one thing's for sure
You're always in my heart
Lost in the darkness
Tried to find your way home
I want to embrace you
And never let you go
Almost hope you're in heaven
So no one can hurt your soul
Living in agony
Cause I just do not know
Where you are
I miss you dear boy :(
3 simple DIY and decor ideas that won't burn your pocket.
Remember my DIY mason jar makeup brush holder project?  Ok I get bored with it because I only stuffed it with cotton pads that are used for wiping and removing makeups.
So I went to Daiso and bought 2 tubes of decorative plastic crystals (each tube costs RM5)
Pop them in the jar and bammm!!!!
A more elegante brush holder.
Ok then now you're wondering what's going to happen with the cotton pads?
Well, as a genius person (lol!) I used one of the tubes to stuff the cotton pads and also keep the makeup remover together in it.  Make sure you clean it first but I was too lazy to do it, so I just directly put them in.
I still have excess crystals that can't fit in the jar, so I've cleaned them up with soap and rinse.
Fill in again with clean water and soap, and baaammm!!!!  You just created your very own cheap and fabulous makeup brush cleaner/scrubber.
Don't worry, the crystals won't damage your brushes because the edges are not sharp and each crystals is huge.  Compared to sand or smaller aquarium stones, they will ruin your brushes and (micro-ly) rip off each strand.
To dry them, just put the tube upside down to drip off the excess water.
Hope you guys like it!!!!
